Russet Vase - Wishing Stone

An earthy celebration of expressive finger marks and fluid painting. Though the surfaces of each vessel in Russet are adorned with glaze or terra sigillata (a fine clay applied as surface decoration), they reveal the simplicity of their material components. Ridges and depressions are highlighted by the application of red terra sigillata mirrored by a paprika glaze interior.
