Object 12, Pocket - Rose Finch

Inspired by the resolute curve of a Labrys Axe Blade, the silhouette of this piece echoes that same arc, defined by strong undercuts at each end to create a crisp, bold shadow line. Originally designed as a ring box for Matthew's nightstand, it blends utility with the notion of protecting precious trinkets. 

Carved from Rose Finch quartzite, sourced from the Bahia region if Brazil, this natural rose stone is as rare as it is difficult to carve.

Size: 5.5"DIA x 2.7"H

Care instructions: to clean, use a soft cloth with a few drops of stone soap or an uncolored mild detergent diluted in warm water. Avoid excessive soap or cleaner, as it may leave streaks or residue.
