Oyster Vase - Warm Oyster

A muted palette reveals surfaces as varied as shells on the ocean floor: layered and fragile, ridged and striated, matte and glassy. After multiple firings, a toasty, crackled
surface shows hints of a dripped grid pattern. Yellow slip was worked into white clay to add depth to this shino vessel.
